Pine Ridge Man Sentenced for Theft of Firearms and Assault on a Federal Officer

United States Attorney Alison J. Ramsdell announced today that U.S. District Judge Jeffrey L. Viken has sentenced a Pine Ridge, South Dakota, man convicted of Theft of Firearms and Assault on a Federal Officer. The sentencing took place on March 24, 2023.


Federal Grand Jury Indicts Tennessee Man for Possession of a Machinegun

KEATON MANGHANE, age 24, a resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was charged on March 10, 2023 in a sealed one-count indictment for possession of a machinegun. The indictment was unsealed on March 28, 2023.


Butler Township Man Pleads Guilty to Gun, Drug Crimes Punishable by at Least 15 Years in Prison

Timothy Jefferson, 46, of Butler Township, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to drug and gun crimes that carry a mandatory minimum of 15 years and up to life in federal prison.


Baltimore Cocaine Dealer, Who Admitted Possessing a Loaded Firearm, Sentenced to Five Years in Federal Prison

U.S. District Judge Richard D. Bennett sentenced Khary Owens, age 44, of Baltimore, Maryland, yesterday to five years in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

Omaha Man Sentenced to 51 Months for Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm

United States Attorney Steven Russell announced that MacAnthony Gordon, 37, of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced today in federal court in Omaha for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Chief United States District Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr. sentenced Gordon to 51 months’ imprisonment.


Raleigh County Man Sentenced to More Than 12 Years in Prison for Fentanyl Crime

Sean Hafesh, 34, of Daniels, Raleigh County, was sentenced today to 12 years and seven months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, for distributing fentanyl.
