Mandeville Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Gun Charge

News Release: NEW ORLEANS, LA - MAURICE BUTLER, age 35, of Mandeville, Louisiana, pleaded guilty on April 4, 2023 to a single count indictment charging him with possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, in violation of the Federal Gun Control Act, Title 18, United States Code, Sections 922(g)(1) and 924(a)(2) announced United States Attorney Duane A. Evans.


South Florida Man Sentenced to 5 Years in Prison for Firearms Offense

News Release: Fort Myers, Florida - U.S. District Judge Sheri Polster Chappell today sentenced Cambrel Jamal Smart (29, Fort Lauderdale) to five years in federal prison for possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon. The court also ordered Smart to forfeit the firearm and ammunition he illegally possessed. Smart had pleaded guilty on Dec. 1, 2022.


Buffalo Man Pleads Guilty to Cocaine Charge

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Tremaine Jacobs a/k/a Teeter a/k/a T, 49, of Buffalo, NY, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo to attempt to possess, with intent to distribute, cocaine, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a fine of $1,000,000.

Colchester Man Sentenced in Drug Case

The United States Attorney’s Office stated that Carl Martin, 37, of Colchester, Vermont, was sentenced yesterday in United States District Court in Burlington to 48 months of imprisonment following his June 2022 conviction at trial on drug charges

Leader of Multi-Kilogram Cocaine Conspiracy Sentenced to 15 Years in Federal Prison

U.S. District Judge Roy B. Dalton, Jr. today sentenced James Mirabal (46, St. Cloud) to 15 years in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute cocaine. The court also ordered Mirabal to forfeit $124,598, traceable proceeds of the offense. Mirabal had pleaded guilty on December 27, 2022.


Sikeston Man Sentenced To Serve 125 Months in Federal Prison on Gun and Drug Charges

The United States Attorney's Office announced that Cameron Melton Malone, age 30, of Sikeston, Missouri, was sentenced to serve a total aggregate sentence of 125 months in federal prison for the offenses of Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana.


Local Man Convicted at Trial Sentenced to 7 Years in Prison for Illegally Possessing Machine ‘Ghost Gun’

Jesse Carter, 32, of Cincinnati, was sentenced in U.S. District Court today to 84 months in prison for illegally possessing a fully-automatic weapon and possessing a pistol and ammunition after previously being convicted of a felony.

Green Bay Man Sentenced to Federal Prison for Manufacturing and Trafficking 3D-Printed Ghost Guns

nited States Attorney Gregory J. Haanstad of the Eastern District of Wisconsin announced that on March 20, 2023, Senior United States District Judge William C. Griesbach sentenced Mitchell J. Guerrero (age: 30) to a total sentence of 46 months’ imprisonment and three years’ supervised release for manufacturing and trafficking 3D-printed firearms, commonly referred to as “ghost guns” because they lack serial numbers and thus are untraceable.


New Orleans Man Pleads Guilty to Drug and Weapons Violations

BRIAN TARDY, age 31, resident of Orleans Parish, pled guilty on Thursday, March 16, 2023 to all counts of a three-count superseding bill of information for drug and weapons violations, announced U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans. TARDY’s sentencing is set for June 22, 2023.

A Meridian, Mississippi man pleaded guilty today to possession of firearms by a convicted felon, announced U.S. Attorney Darren J. LaMarca of the Southern District of Mississippi and Special Agent in Charge Kurt H. Thielhorn of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).


New Haven Man Guilty of Narcotics and Firearm Offenses

Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, today announced that a federal jury in New Haven has found DONELL ALLICK, JR., also known as “D-Nice,” 24, guilty of narcotics offenses. Following the trial and before the jury returned its verdict, Allick also pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing firearms.
