Federal Jury Convicts Pensacola Armed Fentanyl Trafficker

News Release: PENSACOLA, FLORIDA - Marcus D. Flintroy, 32, of Pensacola, Florida, was found guilty by a federal jury Wednesday afternoon on two counts of distribution of fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The guilty verdict was announced by Jason R. Coody, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida.

Drugs Seized From Residence in Claiborne Parish Leads to 15+ Year Sentence for Haynesville Man

News Release: SHREVEPORT, La. -United States Attorney Brandon B. Brown announced the sentencing of Dean Fitzgerald Williams, 40, of Haynesville, Louisiana. United States District Judge Elizabeth E. Foote sentenced Williams to 181 months (15 years, 1 month) in prison, followed by 5 years of supervised release for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. Williams pleaded guilty to the charges on February 8, 2023.

Chalmette Man Indicted for Federal Gun Offenses

News Release: NEW ORLEANS - On July 21, 2023, Tyree King, 33, a resident of Chalmette, Louisiana, was charged in Count 1 with being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of Title 18 United States Code Sections 922(g)(1) and 924(a)(8). In Count 2, he was charged with possessing a machinegun in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 922(o) and 924(a)(2), announced U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans.

Woman Pleads Guilty to Arson of Clinic

News Release: Lorna Roxanne Green, 22, pled guilty to arson of a building used in interstate commerce, specifically the Wellspring Health Access Clinic located in Casper, Wyoming. Green entered her guilty plea before U.S. District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on July 20, 2023. She was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service following the hearing.
