The FY 2023 John R. Justice (JRJ) Formula Grant Program solicitation is now available.

The JRJ Grant Program provides student loan repayment assistance for local, state, and federal public defenders and local and state prosecutors who commit to extended service in those roles. With this solicitation, the Bureau of Justice Assistance seeks to make funding available to state agencies designated by the governor to improve the retention of public defenders and prosecutors.
