Philadelphia, PA – The U.S. Marshals Service is currently leading search efforts for two fugitives who escaped custody late Sunday night.

Authorities are currently searching for Ameen Hurst and Nasir Grant who escaped from the Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center at approximately 10:30 p.m. on May 7, 2023.

Ameen Hurst, 18, is approximately 6 feet tall and was being held on murder charges. Nasir Grant, 24, is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and was being held on narcotics and gun violations. The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to each person’s arrest.

Both individuals are considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals Service at 1 (800) 336-0102, the Philadelphia Police Department at (215) 686-TIPS or submit a USMS web tip.
