A Bronx, New York, man was sentenced on April 10, 2023, to 97 months in prison and five years of supervised release for distributing and possessing images of child sexual abuse. Perth De, aka Parthasarthie Kapoor, 53, pleaded guilty on Aug. 12, 2022, before U.S. District Judge Madeline Cox Arleo in Newark federal court to an information charging him with one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
