U.S. Marshals Arrest Garfield Heights Homicide Suspect

Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) located and arrested Travis Hicks, 32. Hicks was wanted by the Garfield Heights Police Department for murder.


Knife-Wielding Manchester Fugitive Arrested in New York

The U.S. Marshals Service – NH Joint Fugitive Task Force is pleased to announce the capture of “NH Most Wanted” fugitive, Desmel Cooper, who was taken into custody by New York’s Nassau County Police Department. Having both local and federal warrants, this arrest signals the end of media campaigns promoted by the Manchester Police Department and U.S. Marshals Service.


U.S. Marshals Participate in 7th Annual Fallen Heroes Run

United States Marshals Service in collaboration with Mexican authorities arrested Leslie Lopez, 26. Lopez was wanted by Summit County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for aggravated murder.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Service’s Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (GLRFTF) captured on March 9 a fugitive wanted on a homicide charge.


U.S. Marshals Arrest 2 Murder Fugitives in King of Prussia, PA

Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, along with Montgomery County SWAT and Upper Merion Police, arrested Halim Evans, 20, and Jamel King, 29, in the 500 block of Dekalb Pike in King of Prussia, PA. Both men were wanted for murder in relation to a September 2022 shooting death of a 9-week pregnant female which occurred in the 5300 block of Horrocks Street in Philadelphia. Homicide warrants were issued for both Evans and King in February 2023.


Connecticut Fugitive Wanted Since 2012 Captured in Texas

The U.S. Marshals in Texas on Monday arrested a man wanted in Connecticut on child sex charges dating back to 2008.

Connecticut Man Sentenced to 27 Months’ Imprisonment for Illegally Possessing a Firearm

News Release: Burlington, Vermont - The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Vermont stated that Tan Prazeres, 43, of Danbury, Connecticut, was sentenced by United States District Judge William K. Sessions III to 27 months of imprisonment followed by 3 years of supervised release for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Prazeres had previously pled guilty to the offense.


Bakersfield Man Pleads Guilty to Possessing a Firearm in Furtherance of Drug Trafficking at a Bakersfield Motel
