News Release: PENSACOLA, Fla. - Foster Darnell Johnson Sr., 37, of Pensacola, Florida, was sentenced to eight years in federal prison for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and for possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, hydrocodone and large volumes of marijuana. The sentence was announced by Jason R. Coody, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Florida.


Minneapolis Felon Sentenced to 57 Months for Felon in Possession of a Firearm

Superseding Indictment Alleges 3 More New Haven Gang Members Committed Murder and Attempted Murders

News Release: A federal grand jury in Bridgeport returned a superseding indictment yesterday charging an additional three alleged members and associates of the “Exit 8" street gang in New Haven with conspiring to engage in a pattern of racketeering activity, including drug trafficking, murder and attempted murder, as well as related offenses. The grand jury previously returned an indictment charging six alleged members and associates of Exit 8 with related offenses.


Ravenna Man Sentenced to 150 Months in Federal Prison for Illegally Possessing Firearms as a Felon

News Release: GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN - U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan Mark Totten today announced that Zebulon Timothy Nester, 27, of Ravenna Michigan, was sentenced to 150 months in federal prison for being a felon in possession of firearms. U.S. District Judge Robert J. Jonker also ordered Nester to spend three years on supervised release after his confinement. Nester previously pled guilty to this charge in April.

News Release: SHREVEPORT, La. - Cartavious Cursshuan Pouncy, 21, of Shreveport, Louisiana, was sentenced in U.S. District Court today, announced United States Attorney Brandon B. Brown. United States District Judge Elizabeth E. Foote sentenced Pouncy to 20 months in prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release for illegal possession of a machine gun. Pouncy pleaded guilty to the charge on March 16, 2023.


Michigan Man Sentenced to 27 Months’ Imprisonment for Crack Cocaine Distribution and Unlawful Firearm Possession

News Release: Burlington, Vermont - The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Vermont stated that on August 7, 2023, Van Vincent Thomas, 41, of Detroit, Michigan, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge William K. Sessions III to a sentence of 27 months’ imprisonment followed by a 3-year term of supervised release. Thomas previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute cocaine base and possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.
