Two Fugitives Arrested in Long Beach on Firearms, Narcotics Charges After 2-Hour Standoff

Lansing Man Sentenced to 46 Months in Prison for Illegal Gun Possession

News Release: GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan Mark Totten today announced that Davion Shymarri Shaltry, 19, of Lansing, Michigan, was sentenced to 46 months in prison for illegally possessing a firearm as a felon. Shaltry will be on supervised release for three years after he is released from prison.


Providence Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Firearm and Drug Trafficking Charges

News Release: PROVIDENCE, R.I. - A Providence man admitted to a federal judge today that in February 2021, while he was detained at the Adult Correctional Institutions (ACI) on unrelated charges, he arranged by telephone with his then girlfriend to locate and sell a firearm that he illegally possessed and took steps to continue running his established drug trafficking business.

ATF National Response Team To Investigate Buffington Farms Fire

News Release: CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - The National Response Team (NRT) of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) arrived on-scene Wednesday to join agents from the Cape Girardeau, St. Louis and Fairview Heights ATF Offices in investigating a large fire that destroyed parts of Buffington Farms in Williamsville, Missouri.


Fort Myers Felon Pleads Guilty to Unlawfully Possessing a Firearm and Cocaine

News Release: FORT MYERS, Fla. - U.S. Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces that Keith Dewayne Drayton Jr., 27, of Fort Myers today pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm as a previously convicted felon and possessing with the intent to distribute cocaine. Drayton faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in federal prison for the firearm offense and up to 20 years’ imprisonment for the drug offense. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
