Parker, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, announced today that his office and law enforcement agencies are seeing an increase in cases involving impostors posing as others, especially as children or teens on social media and online gaming platforms, persuading victims to provide sexual or intimate personal information, and using that information to threaten or intimidate their victims.

Papillion Man Sentenced to 132 Months for Distributing Child Pornography

News Release: United States Attorney Steven Russell announced that Jason Stoolman, 51, of Papillion, Nebraska, was sentenced today in federal court in Omaha, Nebraska, for distributing child pornography. United States District Judge Brian C. Buescher sentenced Stoolman to 132 months of imprisonment. There is no parole in the federal system. After completing his term of imprisonment, Stoolman will begin a five-year term of supervised release. Stoolman must also pay $18,000 in restitution.
