Colchester Man Sentenced in Drug Case

News Release: BURLINGTON, Vt. - The United States Attorney’s Office stated that Carl Martin, 37, of Colchester, Vermont, was sentenced yesterday in United States District Court in Burlington to 48 months of imprisonment following his June 2022 conviction at trial on drug charges. United States District Judge William K. Sessions III also ordered Martin to serve four years of supervised release following completion of his prison term.

News Release: St. Croix, VI - United States Attorney Delia L. Smith announced today that Moises Figueroa, Jr., age 48, of St. Croix, was sentenced by District Court Judge Wilma A. Lewis to 12 months imprisonment on his conviction of a Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Judge Lewis also sentenced Figueroa to 2 years of supervised release, a fine of $2,000.00, and a special assessment of $100.

Former Federal Correctional Officer Indicted for Sexual Abuse of an Inmate

News Release: TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA - Lenton Jerome Hatten, 54, of Tallahassee, Florida, was indicted by a federal grand jury charging him with one count of sexual abuse of an individual in federal custody. The indictment was announced by Jason R. Coody, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida. Hatten made his initial appearance in federal court to face the charge this afternoon.

La Crosse Man Sentenced to 172 Months for Methamphetamine Trafficking and Illegally Possessing Firearm

News Release: MADISON, WIS. - Timothy M. O’Shea, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Jade Deeny, 26, La Crosse, Wisconsin, was sentenced yesterday by U.S. District Judge William M. Conley to 172 months in prison for possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possessing a firearm as a felon. This prison term will be followed by an eight-year period of supervised release.
