News Release: HARTFORD, Conn. - Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, today announced that JEFFREY AMARANTE-PEREZ, 29, of the Dominican Republic, has been sentenced by U.S. District Judge Vanessa L. Bryant in Hartford to 30 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for trafficking fentanyl and heroin.
