The National Institute of Justice is offering a grant open from Aug. 25 to Aug. 29.

The grant could provide up to $754,210.

OJP is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and racial equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety, protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community. With this solicitation, NIJ seeks to support the original goals of NIJ's Research and Evaluation in Safety, Health, and Wellness in the Criminal Justice System, FY 2019 competitive grant solicitation. NIJ awarded Grant # 2019-R2-CX-0033 to the Fund for the City of New York to support the project, Expanding Mental Health Diversion Opportunities: A Prospective Evaluation of the Los Angeles County Intake Booking Diversion Program. This invitation is for an application to support the project and related research activities under this project by the research team led by Justice Innovation Inc. Statutory Authority: FY19(NIJ - Section 212 Research) Pub. L. No. 116-6, 133 Stat. 13, 119; 28 USC 530C.
