U.S. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL), Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, On May 17 released the following statement regarding the Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General’s (IG) final report and the U.S. Office of Special Counsel’s (OSC) final report on the ethics investigations into U.S. Attorney Rachael Rollins On May 16, Ms. Rollins announced that she will be submitting a letter of resignation to President Biden by close of business Friday.
“I’m deeply concerned by Ms. Rollins’s misconduct, as detailed in the Inspector General’s and Special Counsel’s reports, and support her immediate resignation.”
