FBI-Chicago Announces an Increased Reward for Top 10 Fugitive Arnoldo Jimenez
CHICAGO-Robert W. “Wes" Wheeler Jr., Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), announced today an increase in the reward offered for alleged murderer Arnoldo Jimenez from $100,000 to $250,000.
Chicago-area resident Jimenez became the 522nd fugitive named to the FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted in May 2019. Jimenez allegedly stabbed his wife to death in his black, four-door Maserati before dragging her body into the bathroom tub of her apartment in Burbank, Illinois. At the time of the murder-less than 24 hours after the May 2012 wedding-the victim was still wearing her wedding dress.
The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Jimenez is part of an across the board increase in Top 10 Fugitive List rewards nationwide. Jimenez is believed to have ties to Durango, Mexico, specifically Santiago Papasquiaro. He may also frequent Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
