The Office on Violence Against Women is offering a grant open from March 29 to May 16.

The grant could provide up to $2,600,000.

This program is authorized by 34 U.S.C § 12511. The Sexual Assault Services Formula Program (SAS Formula) (CFDA# 16.017) directs grant dollars to states and territories to assist them in supporting rape crisis centers and other nonprofit, nongovernmental organizations or tribal programs that provide direct intervention and related assistance to victims of sexual assault, without regard to age. What's New About this OVW Program The Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization Act of 2022 added "direct payments" to the list of items that may constitute "intervention and related assistance" for victims of sexual assault under the SASP statute. Direct payments to victims and their family or household members must be for costs related to the sexual assault.
