Richmond Man Sentenced for Possession and Sale of Machinegun Conversion Devices

A Richmond man was sentenced today to three years in prison for possessing and selling multiple machinegun conversion devices, also known as Glock switches, that are designed to convert firearms into fully automatic machineguns.


St. Paul Felon Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison for Illegal Possession of a Firearm

Rochester Woman Pleads Guilty to Making Internet Threats and Firearms Possession

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Gabygayl Cruz, 21, of Rochester, NY, pleaded guilty today before U.S. District Judge Charles J. Siragusa to transmitting a threat in interstate commerce and possessing and discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.


Federal Jury Convicts Northern Minnesota Felon for Illegal Possession of a Firearm

A federal jury found an Onamia man guilty of illegally possessing a firearm following a domestic assault, announced U.S. Attorney Andrew M. Luger.


Madison Man Sentenced to 102 Months for Firearm & Drug Trafficking Crimes

Timothy M. O’Shea, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Sylvester Ray Gavins, Jr., 32, Madison, Wisconsin, was sentenced yesterday by U.S. District Judge William M. Conley to 102 months in prison for possessing cocaine with intent to distribute and possessing a firearm in furtherance of that drug crime. Gavins pleaded guilty to these charges on December 6, 2022.


Schenectady Felon Admits to Possessing Fentanyl and Cocaine Base for Distribution, and Possessing Firearms in Furtherance of Drug Trafficking

Charles Whorley, age 35, formerly of Schenectady, New York, pled guilty yesterday to possessing and intending to distribute fentanyl and cocaine base, and to possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.


San Antonio Capital Murder Suspect Arrested by U.S. Marshals

Members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force and officials with Customs and Border Protection, arrested a Bexar County capital murder suspect in Eagle Pass on March 4th.


Tennessee Man Wanted for Rape of a Child Captured by U.S. Marshals in Kentucky

Damian Daniel Campos, 20, who was wanted by the Carroll County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office for multiple counts of Rape of a Child and Aggravated Sexual Battery was captured yesterday in Kentucky after a joint investigation by U.S. Marshals in Western Tennessee and Kentucky.On September 9, 2022, a bench warrant for Campos’ arrest was issued out of Carroll County after a grand jury indicted him for three counts of Rape of a Child and one count of Aggravated Sexual Battery.

U.S. Marshals Arrest 2 Murder Fugitives in King of Prussia, PA

Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, along with Montgomery County SWAT and Upper Merion Police, arrested Halim Evans, 20, and Jamel King, 29, in the 500 block of Dekalb Pike in King of Prussia, PA. Both men were wanted for murder in relation to a September 2022 shooting death of a 9-week pregnant female which occurred in the 5300 block of Horrocks Street in Philadelphia. Homicide warrants were issued for both Evans and King in February 2023.
