News Release: Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that THEODORE ROOSEVELT OWENS, 22, of Hartford, pleaded guilty today before U.S. District Judge Omar A. Williams in Hartford to offenses related to his possession of a stolen firearm and his role in a catalytic converter theft ring.

Fort Smith Arms Dealer Arrested in Austin, Texas

News Release: FORT SMITH - A Fort Smith man was arrested yesterday in Austin, Texas on criminal charges related to his alleged possession of an unregistered destructive device; namely, an improvised explosive bomb, which was not registered to him in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record as required by law. Mehta’s arrest ended a six-day manhunt, in which the public’s assistance was solicited in locating the defendant, who was assumed to be armed and dangerous.


Tallahassee Man Indicted for Six Armed Robberies Spanning One Week

News Release: TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA - A federal grand jury has returned a thirteen-count indictment charging Keshawn Jarmarlin Robinson, 21, of Tallahassee, Florida, with six counts of Hobbs Act Robbery, six counts of brandishing a firearm during the commission of a crime of violence, and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Armed Fentanyl Dealer Sentenced to More Than Seven Years in Federal Prison

News Release: Jacksonville, FL - U.S. District Judge Marcia Morales Howard has sentenced Brandon Corey Skeith (40, Jacksonville) to seven years and eight months in federal prison for possessing fentanyl and cocaine base with the intent to distribute it and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Skeith had pleaded guilty on Nov. 3, 2022.


Christian County Man Sentenced to 10 Years in Federal Prison for Narcotics Trafficking and Weapons Charges

La Crosse Man Sentenced to 5 Years for Illegal Gun Possession

News Release: MADISON, WIS. - Timothy M. O’Shea, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Marcelle Davis, 22, La Crosse, Wisconsin was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge William M. Conley to five years in prison for being a felon in possession of firearms. The prison term will be followed by three years of supervised release. Davis pleaded guilty to this charge on October 7, 2022.
