Lutz Man Pleads Guilty To Illegally Possessing A Firearm

News Release: Tampa, Florida - United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces that Toney Dewayne Salter (31, Lutz) has pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. Salter faces a minimum mandatory penalty of 15 years, up to life, in federal prison. A sentencing date has not yet been set. Salter has also agreed to forfeit the firearm traceable to the offense.
