Philadelphia Man Convicted of Obtaining United States Citizenship by Fraud

News Release: PHILADELPHIA - United States Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero announced that Sumo Dukulah, 49, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was convicted today at trial of procurement of citizenship by a false statement and unlawfully arising from his failure to honestly answer questions during the naturalization process about his prior criminal activity, including his rape of a child under the age of thirteen.

News Release: Jacksonville, Florida - U.S. District Judge Brian J. Davis today sentenced Keenan Hunter (32, Jacksonville) to two years and three months in federal prison for his escape from custody from a halfway house in Jacksonville. Hunter had pleaded guilty on Dec. 29, 2022.


Man Convicted For Two Armed Robberies Is Sentenced To 10 Years

News Release: CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Today, U.S. District Judge Frank D. Whitney sentenced Travon Roary, 37, of Charlotte, to 120 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for committing two armed robberies, announced Dena J. News Release: PHILADELPHIA-United States Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero announced that GlycoMark, Inc., a joint-venture subsidiary owned by Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Toyota Tsusho America, Inc., and Nippon Kayaku Co., Ltd., has agreed to pay $195,000 to resolve allegations that it violated the False Claims Act by encouraging its customers to submit claims for the GlycoMark test after the test was no longer approved for reimbursement to Medicare and Medicaid.


Mexican National Sentenced to 144 Months for Drug Trafficking in the Tri Cities

News Release: Richland, Washington - On March 28, 2023, Senior United States District Judge Edward F. Shea sentenced Rafael Muniz-De La Mora, 49, to 12 years in in federal prison after his guilty plea to possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of pure methamphetamine. Muniz-De La Mora, who is from Sinaloa, Mexico, also will serve 5 years of federal supervision after he is released from federal custody.
