Member of Violent Bridgeport Gang Sentenced to More Than 20 Years in Federal Prison

News Release: TYRONE MOORE, also known as “Ty Ralph Lauren," 21, of Bridgeport, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Victor A. Bolden in Bridgeport to 250 months of imprisonment, followed by five years of supervised release, for his involvement in a violent Bridgeport street gang and his role in the murder of a rival in July 2019.


New Orleans Man Sentenced for Drug and Weapons Violations

News Release: NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA - On June 22, 2023, BRIAN TARDY, age 31, a resident of Orleans Parish, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Barry W. Ashe to 106 months of imprisonment, 3 years of supervised release, and a $300 mandatory special assessment fee after previously pleading guilty to a three-count superseding bill of information, announced U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans.

Collier County Career Offender Sentenced to 40 Years in Prison for Firearm and Drug Offenses

News Release: Fort Myers, Florida - U.S. District Judge Thomas P. Barber today sentenced Alex Winters (44, Collier County) to 40 years in federal prison for possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon, possessing controlled substances with intent to distribute, and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. The Court also ordered Winters to forfeit the firearm and ammunition he illegally possessed. Winters was found guilty at trial on March 9, 2022.


Jacksonville Convicted Felon Sentenced to Eight Years for Narcotics and Firearm Possession

News Release: Jacksonville, Florida - U.S. District Judge Marcia Morales Howard has sentenced Johnny Deangelo White (46, Jacksonville) to eight years and four months in federal prison for possessing with the intent to distribute fentanyl and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense. He had pleaded guilty in March 2023.


Bridgeport Felon Found With Loaded Ghost Gun While on Supervised Release Pleads Guilty

News Release: Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that TIMOTHY STATON, 28, of Bridgeport, pleaded guilty today before U.S. District Judge Omar A. Williams in Hartford to unlawful possession of ammunition by a felon, and to violating the conditions of his supervised release from a prior federal conviction.


Tarpon Spring Man Who Threatened To Commit Violence to a Child and Grandmother Arrested and Charged

News Release: Tampa, Florida - United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces the arrest and filing of a criminal complaint charging Antonio McCray (22, Tarpon Springs) with possessing a firearm after having been convicted of a felony. If convicted, McCray faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in federal prison. McCray made his initial appearance on June 21, 2023, before U.S. Magistrate Judge Amanda Arnold Sansone, and was ordered detained pending trial.

Hardin Felon Sentenced to Prison for Illegal Possession of Gun

News Release: BILLINGS - A Hardin man with felony convictions was sentenced today to 21 months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, after law enforcement found a firearm in a stolen truck he was driving during a pursuit that began near Billings and ended on the Crow Indian Reservation, U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich said today.


Smyrna Man Sentenced to 30 Months for Possession of Machineguns and Unregistered Silencers

News Release: WILMINGTON, Del. - David C. Weiss, U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware, announced that Danny Aument, age 48, was sentenced earlier this week to 30 months in prison for one count of unlawful possession of a machinegun and one count of possession of an unregistered silencer. U.S. District Judge Gregory B. Williams pronounced the sentence.

Tampa Man Pleads Guilty to Illegally Possessing Firearm

News Release: Tampa, Florida - United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces that Deandre Riviera Lopez (33, Tampa) has pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. Lopez faces a minimum mandatory penalty of 15 years, up to life, in federal prison under the Armed Career Criminal Act. A sentencing date has not yet been set.


Baltimore Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Racketeering Conspiracy Charge for His Participation in the Triple C Gang

News Release: Baltimore, Maryland - Jawaun Harris, age 24, of Baltimore, Maryland, pleaded guilty yesterday to a federal charge of conspiracy to participate in the affairs of a racketeering enterprise, in connection with his membership in the Triple C gang, including a carjacking, two attempted murders and a drug distribution conspiracy.

Ulster County Felon Pleads Guilty to Unlawful Firearm Possession

News Release: ALBANY, NEW YORK - Bram Fox, age 43, of Kerhonkson, New York, pled guilty today to unlawfully possessing a rifle as a previously convicted felon. Fox also admitted to manufacturing and possessing several dozen firearms, which law enforcement seized from his Ulster County house earlier this year.
