Wallingford Man Charged With Illegally Possessing a Firearm

News Release: Burlington, Vermont - The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont announced that today a federal grand jury sitting in Burlington, Vermont returned a one count indictment charging John Grandizio, 39, of Wallingford, Vermont, with knowingly possessing a firearm after having been previously convicted of a felony offense.

Violent Felon Sentenced to Over 6 Years in Federal Prison for Possessing a Firearm

News Release: INDIANAPOLIS- Thomas Burkett, 45, of Indianapolis, Indiana, has been sentenced to 77 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to possessing a firearm as a previously convicted felon.


U.S. Marshals Looking for Escapee

News Release: Washington, DC - The U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force is requesting the public’s assistance and offering up to $5,000 as a reward for information leading to the apprehension of a fugitive who escaped from the custody of the Virginia Department of Corrections on Aug. 11, 2023.

News Release: BOSTON - A Malden man was sentenced yesterday in federal court in Boston for operating a drug trafficking enterprise in which he sold fentanyl, cocaine and cocaine base to an undercover officer on multiple occasions.


Superseding Indictment Alleges 3 More New Haven Gang Members Committed Murder and Attempted Murders

News Release: A federal grand jury in Bridgeport returned a superseding indictment yesterday charging an additional three alleged members and associates of the “Exit 8" street gang in New Haven with conspiring to engage in a pattern of racketeering activity, including drug trafficking, murder and attempted murder, as well as related offenses. The grand jury previously returned an indictment charging six alleged members and associates of Exit 8 with related offenses.


Akron Man Sentenced to Over 13 Years for Gun and Drug Charges

News Release: CLEVELAND - Reginald Allen, 37, of Akron, Ohio, was sentenced yesterday to 157 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Bridget M. Brennan, after he pled guilty to a nine-count indictment including charges for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, a fentanyl analog, cocaine and methamphetamine.


Shreveport Man Sent to Federal Prison for Illegal Possession of a Machine Gun

News Release: SHREVEPORT, La. - Cartavious Cursshuan Pouncy, 21, of Shreveport, Louisiana, was sentenced in U.S. District Court today, announced United States Attorney Brandon B. Brown. United States District Judge Elizabeth E. Foote sentenced Pouncy to 20 months in prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release for illegal possession of a machine gun. Pouncy pleaded guilty to the charge on March 16, 2023.


Man Sentenced to Federal Prison After Using Instagram To Illegally Sell Guns, Including to a Minor

U.S. Marshals Arrest Four, Two Wanted for Homicide

News Release: Cleveland, OH - This morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Jordan Hicks, 19, Jaylon Hicks, 19, Darden Carter 18, and Joshua Ziegler, 20. Jordan and Jaylon Hicks were wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

News Release: SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - Former police officer William Cintrón-Rivera, aka “El Kid/Kid" was sentenced to eight years in prison for the theft of 54 guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition from the Puerto Rico Police Bureau (PRPB), Guayama headquarters, on July 17, 2019. The defendant was ordered to forfeit his position as a PRPB officer and pay $48,624 in restitution to the PRPB.

Evans announced that on August 8, 2023, DAVID COULTER, age 34, of New Orleans, pleaded guilty as charged on August 8, 2023 to Count 2 of his indictment for being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 922(g)(1) and 924(a)(2).


Manatee County Man Sentenced to Federal Prison for Unlawfully Possessing Loaded Firearm as a Convicted Felon

News Release: FORT MYERS, Fla. - U.S. District Judge Sheri Polster Chappell has sentenced Shaborn Washington, 29, of Palmetto to eight years and four months in federal prison for possessing a firearm as a previously convicted felon. The court also ordered Washington to forfeit the firearm and ammunition possessed during the offense. Washington had been found guilty following a bench trial on February 23.


Career Criminal Sentenced to 11 Years in Prison for Trafficking Fentanyl
