Defendant Sentenced to 19 Years in Federal Prison for a Racketeering Conspiracy, Including Two Murders

News Release: BALTIMORE - U.S. District Judge Stephanie A. Gallagher sentenced Demonte Kellum, 26, of Baltimore to 19 years in federal prison, followed by 5 years of supervised release, for conspiracy to participate in racketeering activity, specifically his involvement in three armed robberies in 2019, two of which resulted in the murder of the victims.


FFL Owner Sentenced to Prison for Illegally Providing a Firearm to Essa Williams, Alleged Shooter of Phoenix Police Department Officer Tyler Moldovan

News Release: PHOENIX - Dwayne Keith Anderson, 51, of Phoenix was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Steven P. Logan on Monday to six months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Anderson pleaded guilty on May 24 to false statement during the purchase of a firearm, aid and abet.


Vermont Man Sentenced to More Than Seven Years in Prison for Unlawful Firearm Possession

News Release: BOSTON - A Vermont man was sentenced yesterday in federal court in Boston for being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition.


Manatee County Man Sentenced to Federal Prison for Unlawfully Possessing Loaded Firearm as a Convicted Felon

News Release: FORT MYERS, Fla. - U.S. District Judge Sheri Polster Chappell has sentenced Shaborn Washington, 29, of Palmetto to eight years and four months in federal prison for possessing a firearm as a previously convicted felon. The court also ordered Washington to forfeit the firearm and ammunition possessed during the offense. Washington had been found guilty following a bench trial on February 23.


Akron Man Sentenced to Over 13 Years for Gun and Drug Charges

News Release: CLEVELAND - Reginald Allen, 37, of Akron, Ohio, was sentenced yesterday to 157 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Bridget M. Brennan, after he pled guilty to a nine-count indictment including charges for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, a fentanyl analog, cocaine and methamphetamine.


Shreveport Man Sent to Federal Prison for Illegal Possession of a Machine Gun

News Release: SHREVEPORT, La. - Cartavious Cursshuan Pouncy, 21, of Shreveport, Louisiana, was sentenced in U.S. District Court today, announced United States Attorney Brandon B. Brown. United States District Judge Elizabeth E. Foote sentenced Pouncy to 20 months in prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release for illegal possession of a machine gun. Pouncy pleaded guilty to the charge on March 16, 2023.


Malden Man Sentenced for Cocaine and Firearms Offenses

News Release: BOSTON - A Malden man was sentenced yesterday in federal court in Boston for operating a drug trafficking enterprise in which he sold fentanyl, cocaine and cocaine base to an undercover officer on multiple occasions.


Union County Man Sentenced to 61 Months in Prison for Illegally Possessing Firearm and Drug Trafficking

News Release: NEWARK, N.J. - A Union County, New Jersey, man was sentenced to 61 months in prison for illegally possessing fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and oxycodone for distribution and possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced today.

Superseding Indictment Alleges 3 More New Haven Gang Members Committed Murder and Attempted Murders

News Release: A federal grand jury in Bridgeport returned a superseding indictment yesterday charging an additional three alleged members and associates of the “Exit 8" street gang in New Haven with conspiring to engage in a pattern of racketeering activity, including drug trafficking, murder and attempted murder, as well as related offenses. The grand jury previously returned an indictment charging six alleged members and associates of Exit 8 with related offenses.


Montgomery Man Sentenced for Illegally Possessing Ammunition Used During Shooting at a Funeral

News Release: Montgomery, Alabama - On August 7, 2023, a federal judge sentenced 42-year-old Gerald Dyron Little, from Montgomery, Alabama, to 120 months in prison for illegally possessing ammunition he used during a shooting at a funeral, announced United States Attorney Sandra J. Stewart. In addition to the ten-year sentence, the judge also ordered that Little serve three years of supervised release following his prison term. There is no parole in the federal system.


Investigation by U.S. Marshals and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Leads to the Capture of a West Tennessee Violent Fugitive

News Release: Jackson, TN - On Aug. 10, 2023, Jeraldo Ascencio Pacheco, 23, of Crockett County, TN, was captured at the Texas-Mexico border after an investigation by U.S. Marshals and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Pacheco was wanted by the Jackson Police Department (JPD) for two counts of Aggravated Assault and Especially Aggravated Robbery.


U.S. Marshals Arrest Texas Man in Maine for Transportation of Illegal Aliens in Texas
