Mississippi Resident Sentenced to Twelve Years in Prison for Armed Carjacking

New Orleans Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Gun Charge

News Release: NEW ORLEANS, LA - LAIRD JOHNSON, age 24, of New Orleans, Louisiana, pleaded guilty on March 23, 2023 to a five-count indictment alleging violations of the Federal Gun Control Act, Title 18 United States Code, Sections 922(g)(1), 922(j), 922(u), 924(a)(2), and 924(i)(1), announced United States Attorney Duane A. Evans.


Reno Woman Sentenced to Prison for Straw Purchasing Firearms

News Release: RENO - A Reno woman who made false statements when she purchased multiple firearms that were bought for her son, a convicted felon, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Howard D. McKibben to 18 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.


Drug Trafficker Sentenced to 120 Months Imprisonment Following Exchange of Gunfire With SWAT and Seizure of Narcotics

News Release: Salt Lake City, Utah - A Utah man was sentenced today to 10 years’ imprisonment for possessing and intending to distribute methamphetamine and possessing a firearm during a drug trafficking crime, where a SWAT officer and the defendant were shot and injured in the District of Utah.

Man Charged With Stealing Guns From Newington Gun Store

Andre Gregory, 31, pleaded guilty in United States District Court to one count of bribery. U.S. District Court Judge Dabney L. Friedrich scheduled a sentencing hearing for June 12, 2023. U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves for the District of Columbia and FBI Special Agent in Charge Wayne A. Jacobs of the Washington Field Office made the announcement.


Federal Grand Jury Indicts Tennessee Man for Possession of a Machinegun

News Release: NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA - KEATON MANGHANE, age 24, a resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was charged on March 10, 2023 in a sealed one-count indictment for possession of a machinegun. The indictment was unsealed on March 28, 2023.


Columbus Man Faces 25-Year Prison Sentence After Conviction of Crimes Related to Violent Armed Robbery
