Former Police Officer Pleads Guilty to Theft of Firearms From Police Weapons Vault and Tampering With Multiple Witnesses

News Release: SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - Former police officer William Cintrón-Rivera, a.k.a. “El Kid/Kid" pleaded guilty to the theft of 54 guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition from the Puerto Rico Police Bureau, Guayama headquarters on July 17, 2019. On Jan. 20, 2021, a federal grand jury charged the defendant with multiple counts of firearms violations and tampering with witnesses.

News Release: Tampa, Florida - U.S. District Judge Charlene E. Honeywell has sentenced Jesus Rivas (29, Tampa) to eight years and four months in federal prison for unlawful possession of ammunition by a convicted felon. Rivas had pleaded guilty on November 4, 2022.

Prison Escapee Sentenced to 10 Years for Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, a Charge Resulting From Shooting of Farmington Police Officer

News Release: ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Alexander M.M. Uballez, United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico, and Brendan Iber, Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), announced today that Elias Buck was sentenced to the statutory maximum of 10 years in prison. Buck, 24, of Aztec, New Mexico, pleaded guilty on Dec. 8, 2022, to being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.


Madison Man Sentenced to 42 Months for Trafficking Heroin & Cocaine

News Release: MADISON, WIS. - Timothy M. O’Shea, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Jeff C. Starks, 28, Madison, Wisconsin was sentenced yesterday by Chief U.S. District Judge James D. Peterson to 42 months in federal prison for distributing heroin and cocaine. The prison term will be followed by 5 years of supervised release. Starks pleaded guilty to this charge on Jan. 12, 2023.


Dominican National Sentenced to 70 Months in Federal Prison for Trafficking Fentanyl Analogue

News Release: EAST HARTFORD, Conn.- Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that WILLIAM VALERIO-PALERMO, also known as “Willy," 37, a citizen of the Dominican Republic last residing in East Hartford, has been sentenced by U.S. District Judge Alvin W. Thompson in Hartford to 70 months of imprisonment for trafficking acetylfentanyl, a fentanyl analogue.
