News Release: Ocala, FL - U.S. District Judge John Antoon II has sentenced Nishera Remon Johnson (42, Silver Springs Shores) to 16 years and 8 months years in federal prison for conspiring to distribute narcotics (including methamphetamine and cocaine) and possessing a firearm as an armed career criminal. Johnson had been indicted on Sept. 2, 2020. She was previously found guilty by a federal jury on June 29, 2022.

New Orleans Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Carjacking and Weapons Violations
News Release: NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA - On May 30, 2023, TEVIS STANTON, age 22, a resident of Orleans Parish, pled guilty to two counts of a four-count indictment for carjacking and weapons violations announced U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans. Count 1 charged STANTON with a March 22, 2022 carjacking, in the 1200 block of Fern Street in New Orleans, Louisiana. Count 2 charged STANTON with using a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. His sentencing is set for Sept. 27, 2023.
