News Release: SHREVEPORT, La. - U.S. Attorney Brandon B. Brown announced the sentencing of Odis Freeman, 36, of Shreveport today. U.S. District Judge Elizabeth E. Foote sentenced Freeman to 102 months (8 years, 6 months) in prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release for illegal possession of drugs and a firearm.


La Crosse Felon Sentenced to 46 Months for Illegal Gun Possession

News Release: MADISON, WIS. - Timothy M. O’Shea, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Kareem Nellem, 30, La Crosse, Wisconsin was sentenced today by Chief U.S. District Judge James D. Peterson to 46 months in federal prison for possessing a firearm as a felon. This prison term will be followed by a 3-year term of supervised release. Nellem pleaded guilty to this charge on April 12, 2023.
